Australia wishes to tighten co -operation with Viet Nam

Australia wishes to tighten mutual cooperation with Viet Nam not only in economics but also in education and poverty elimination, said John Joseph Acquilina, Speaker of the Legislative Assembly of New South Wales, Australia.

Viet Nam has always been an important Asian partner for Australia, he said in a working session held in Ha Noi o­n Feb. 6 with Nguyen Van Yeu, Vice Chairman of the Viet Nam National Assembly.

 

During the meeting, Vice Chairman Yeu asserted that despite geographical distance, Viet Nam and Australia are emotionally close to each other. He also thanked the government and the people of Australia for their support in the fields of economics and education./.
