On November 30, the final round of “National competition for Good speakers about HIV/AIDS prevention 2010” was held in Hanoi with the participation of female speakers who are about 20 years old.

All members joined the contest were typical faces for speakers from provinces and cities across the country. They participated in the contest with the desire of erasing stigmatization and discrimination by society against people living with HIV.

"I see many people stigmatized and discriminated against people with HIV. Participating in the contest, I want to further increase my knowledge about HIV/AIDS and then continue to communicate for everyone to better understand HIV/AIDS, contributing to shorten distance between the community and people with HIV/AIDS,” said Nguyen Linh Thu, a speaker from Ninh Thuan province.

"As you know, the youth union work has many fields, members of the youth union have to know these fields, especially communication work about HIV because this is a big epidemic, not unique to any country,” said Tran Thanh Ngoc Thanh Loan, a youth union official from Can Tho province.

With the same thought, Ho Thi Mong Thuy, a student from the Faculty of Information and Library, University of Culture, Ben Tre province, also actively involved in communication activities to prevent the lethal disease. Along with Thanh Loan and Linh Thu, Mong Thuy is also an excellent speaker and she was presented the certificate of merit by the director of the Central Health Education Centre.
