Preparatory session of 13th National Women’s Congress

On the morning of March 9, the Preparatory session of the 13th National Women's Congress (2022-2027 term) was held in the National Convention Center, Ha Noi. The delegates elected the Presidium, Secretariat, and approved the Congress agenda and regulation.

Also at the session, 13 outstanding projects/tasks, which are mainly related to environment protection and support of poor women and children in Covid-19 pandemic were awarded.

Early in the morning, Vietnam Women’s Union (VWU) leaders and delegates respectfully laid wreaths to pay tribute to late President Ho Chi Minh at his mausoleum. They also visited the Monument of Heroes and Martyrs in Bac Son street to pay tribute to those who sacrificed themselves for the national independence and freedom.
