The Vietnam Women's Union shows sympathies to All China Women’s Federation over plane crash

Recently, the VWU sent a message of sympathy to All China Women’s Federation (ACWF) over a deadly plane crash on March 21, 2022.

VWU’s President Ms. Ha Thi Nga wrote, “Through the media, we are very saddened to learn about a China Eastern Airlines’ plane crash (flight MU 5735) in Wuzhou city, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region with 132 passengers on board on March 21, 2022”.

The VWU President sent her deep condolences and sympathies to the Chinese people and women, especially the families of those who lost their lives in the incident. She was confident under the wise and timely direction by the General Secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and Chinese President Xi Jinping along with the efforts by local authorities and people, the families would overcome this difficult time to settle down in the soonest. She also extent her best wishes of health and safety to the Chinese people and women.

In response, ACWF expressed its gratitude for the timely encouragement and sharing of the VWU. Its reply letter on March 25, 2022 wrote, “while we are mourning for the victims of the China Eastern Airlines accident, your letter of sympathy reached us and warmed our hearts. We are grateful for the friendship you and sisters of VWU extended towards the Chinese people, especially Chinese women”.
