VWU’s Plan on Laws communication for Women in 2007

According to this Plan, the contents of disseminating and educating laws for women based o­n guidelines of the Party, the State and the Ministry of Justice, the VWU; the Law o­n National Assembly Organization, the Gender Equality Law and other women - related normative documents. Depending o­n characters of targets groups, time, place, women’s union at all levels choose suitable forms of communication o­n laws such as meeting, lecturing, training …for its staff, members and women; compiling and publishing documents; giving information through mass media, art performance, contests; setting up and multiplying club models; providing law counseling and support…

This is to enhance women’s knowledge and awareness o­n laws and sense of respect and practice of laws, prevent laws violation, build up capacity for the staff of women’s union in communicating laws to women and their family members. . In order to achieve this goal, it is required that the women’s union at all levels closely coordinates with judicial agent in disseminating and educating laws for women regularly through plentiful and suitable forms.
