On the afternoon of December 14, 2022, the UN Women in Viet Nam and the Vietnam Women's Union signed a cooperation agreement to strengthen the cooperation between the two organizations for the 2022 – 2026 period.

An exhibition titled ‘Remember Barbara’ opened at the Vietnamese Women's Museum in Hanoi on December 14, telling the stories of 14 women who are living witnesses of World War II.

On October 6, Ms. Tran Lan Phuong – VWU Vice President – had a meeting with leaders of the Center for Agriculture and Rural Development Mutually Reinforcing Institutions (CARD MRI - Philippines).

On September 6, at the Head office of the Central Vietnam Women's Union, Ms. Tran Lan Phuong - VWU Vice President, had a working session with Mr. Francisco Pichon - Head of Mekong Regional Office, Vietnam Country Director of the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), to discuss future cooperation activities to support women in economic development.

On August 24, the Vietnam Women's Union (VWU) and the Korean Women’s Development Institute (KWDI) co-organized the 9th Vietnam - Korea Women's Forum with the theme "COVID-19 from a gender perspective: Women's experiences and policy responses in South Korea and Vietnam". The forum was held in a hybrid format in Hanoi and Seoul.

On the afternoon of August 30, 2022, the Vietnam Women's Union and the Embassy of South Africa in Vietnam co-hosted a hybrid seminar “Vietnamese and South African women in leadership and international integration” to enhance understanding and cooperation between women and people of Vietnam and South Africa.

A forum themed “Women of Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia promote international cooperation and integration for green and sustainable development in a COVID-19 world” was held in a hybrid format in Hanoi, Vientiane (Laos) and Phnom Penh (Cambodia) on September 28.

On September 13, Vice President of Vietnam Women's Union (VWU) Tran Lan Phuong had a courtesy meeting with Ms. Kristina Bünde, new Head of Cooperation Section, Delegation of the European Union (EU) to Vietnam.

On the morning of August 16, 2022, the Vietnam Women’s Union (VWU) and the UN Women in Viet Nam co-organized the Forum "Promoting Women, Peace and Security Agenda: Roles of women’s organizations".

A conference contributing opinions to complete the draft revised Law on Domestic Violence Prevention and Control (revised) was organised in Hanoi, on August 24.
