The role of Vietnamese and Cuban women in political and socio-economic life has been spotlighted at a seminar held by the Women's Unions of the two countries in Havana on April 21 (local time).

On August 24, the Vietnam Women's Union (VWU) and the Korean Women’s Development Institute (KWDI) co-organized the 9th Vietnam - Korea Women's Forum with the theme "COVID-19 from a gender perspective: Women's experiences and policy responses in South Korea and Vietnam". The forum was held in a hybrid format in Hanoi and Seoul.

On the afternoon of August 30, 2022, the Vietnam Women's Union and the Embassy of South Africa in Vietnam co-hosted a hybrid seminar “Vietnamese and South African women in leadership and international integration” to enhance understanding and cooperation between women and people of Vietnam and South Africa.

A forum themed “Women of Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia promote international cooperation and integration for green and sustainable development in a COVID-19 world” was held in a hybrid format in Hanoi, Vientiane (Laos) and Phnom Penh (Cambodia) on September 28.

Within the framework of a working visit to Cuba at the invitation of the Cuban Women’s Federation (FMC), the VWU delegation led by Mrs. Ha Thi Nga, Member of the Party Central Committee, VWU President visited and worked with FMC, Party and government agencies and organizations, mass unions, historical centers, socio-economic establishments in Cuba to study their activities, strengthen cooperation and special friendship between the people and women of the two countries.
