On 24th November in Hanoi, the Vietnam Women's Union held a national review Conference on the two - year implementation of the "Patron-parents" Program. Mottainai - a charity programme launched by Phu nu Viet Nam (Vietnam’s Women) newspaper to support orphans and disadvantaged children - has received donations of 350 million VND (14,700 USD) and 2,000 items of used clothes within just ten days, the newspaper said on August 22. -

Joining hands to fight violence against women and girls
Vietnam is seen as a country achieving many positive results in narrowing the gender gap, especially in the fields of labour, employment, healthcare, and education, which have been recognised by the international community. The country is rated among the top 10 performers worldwide in implementing the United Nations Development Goal on achieving gender equality and empowering all women and girls. -

Kon Tum Women’s Union launching the 2022 Program "Supporting women in border areas”
