Field Visit to the Green One UN House: Enhancing Integration Mindset and Adaptive Capacity in Women’s Union Work
Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Huong, VWU Vice President speaks at the training program As part of the program, participants had the opportunity to conduct a field visit and attend a workshop at the United Nations Green One House, the workplace of many United Nations agencies in Vietnam. Through these activities, participants gained practical insights into the international working environment, sustainable development initiatives, and multi-sectoral coordination approaches in addressing social issues. The program also helped Women’s Union cadres strengthen their professional skills, foster innovative thinking, and enhance their adaptability in an increasingly internationalized context.
The combination of theoretical learning and practical experience is considered a modern training approach that bridges theory and practice while improving learning effectiveness. This approach plays an important role in building a staff of professional, dynamic, and capable Women’s Union cadres, who can meet the demands of their tasks in the new context. At the same time, it contributes to improving the quality of Women’s Union activities, promoting an international integration mindset, and strengthening the capacity to participate in cooperation and sustainable development initiatives.
