First China-ASEAN women's forum held

Over 100 delegates including leaders of women's unions and agencies and businesswomen from China and ASEAN countries attended the forum. At the forum, Ms Ha Thi Khiet delivered a speech briefing about great achievements that Vietnam has gained in the renovation cause over the past over 20 years as well as the attention of the Party and government of Vietnam to the gender equality and progresses of Vietnamese women.

The forum was held o­n the occasion of the 15th anniversary of China-ASEAN dialog relations and the China-ASEAN co-operative friendship year 2006.
