Thai Binh province has been paying high attention to job training and placement for its disabled and orphans, who number nearly 100,000. The task is a tough one though for job placements and vocational training courses are often linked with production workshops.

“Golden Hands” of the competition have been identified. More importantly, the disabled of the province have enjoyed themselves on the Day for the Disabled.

According to Mr. Do Quang Thuong, President of the Thai Binh Association for the Protection of the Disabled and Orphans, over the last 10 years the organization has assisted thousands of the disabled, many of whom are women, with vocational training and job placement.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Xuan My, President of the Vietnam Association for the Protection of the Disabled and Orphans said, “The disabled, with their determination and people’s assistance, can do nearly everything that non-disabled can.
