Honoring Excellent Business Women
Member of Political Bureau, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Sinh Hung; Vice President of SRV Truong My Hoa, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Truong Quang Duoc, Secretary of Central Committee of Vietnam Communist Party and Head of the Mass Mobilization Commission, Tong Thi Phong; Member of Party Central Committee, President of VWU, Ha Thi Khiet; Chairman of VCCI, Vu Tien Loc attended the ceremony.
Speaking at the award ceremony, Vice President of SRV Truong My Hoa highly appreciated the role of the Vietnamese women in the renovation, modernization and industrialization process of the country. She stressed, in the intensive and comprehensive integration era of the country, women have been positively participating and effectively contributing to national construction and development. Madam Hoa said the Golden Rose Prize awarded for excellent Business Women every year is the recognition for the business women’s achievements and efforts. The awarding of this Prize aimed to support, honor and encourage women to further engage in business, as well as to overcome hindrances and difficulties in this challenging field, to enrich for themselves and the country.
36 business women were award “Golden Rose” in 2006 Cup (increase 15 business women in comparison with 2005’s prize). They are exemplarywomen who are not only good at social activities, enterprise union’s activities but also “competent at work, capable at house”, responsible to their family, good at nursing and educating children etc…These are also new points in criteria to choose excellent business women for the Prize this year.
Besides, on this occasion, the Organizing Committee also awarded Certificates of Merit for 70 outstanding business women.
