International women world fair 2006

Aiming at welcoming the 11^th APEC Women Leaders Networks Meeting, that is organized in Hanoi Vietnam o­n September, 2006, encouraging the development of businesswomen, promoting the movement for the advancement of women in Vietnam, Vietnam Women’s Union and International Fair and Communication Company Limited jointly organize International Women World Fair o­n August, 2006 in Hanoi. This is also the activity aiming at carrying out the Instruction No. 27 / 2004/CT-TTg of Prime Minister o­n strengthen the movement for the advancement of women in Vietnam. The Instruction says: “economy growth must go together with cultural growth, carrying out the progress and social justice. Therefore, Vietnam Party andState pay great attention o­n the advancement of women in Vietnam and the gender equality, consider it as o­ne of most important task in the career of devenloping the country.”

The trade fair contains two main sections: Services and Products of women’s enterpries; Services and Products for women life. The trade fair is planned to become international annual event. This is a very good opportunity for Vietnam and foreign enterpries to introduce their products and services, signing contracts, launching brand names. The event contributes to improve women’s life quality, to promote women’s advancement. The seminars with topics for successful women in the intergaration economy will be held simultaneously.

Especially o­n this occation, Vietnam Women’s Union and GFC Co., Ltd jointly organize the Prize Award of Cup and Medal for successful business women and companies in Innovation period of Vietnam.

Vietnam Women’s Union warmly welcome all the Vietnam and foreign organizations and companies participating in the Women World fair, contributing to the Gender Equality and the Advancement of Women in Vietnam.
