The Vietnam Women's Union and all Vietnamese women are in deep grief over the death of Cambodian King Father Norodom Shihanouk. Throughthe Cambodian Women for Peace and Development Association and you personally,we would like to sendto the Royal family, Royal Government of Cambodia,Cambodian people and women our deepest condolences.

Cambodian King Father Norodom Shihanouk’s passing away is a great loss to the Royal Governmentand Cambodian people. Vietnam also lost a big closed friend. We will always remember the emotional friendship and valuable contribution of King Father Norodom Shihanouk for the friendship, good bond between the two countries Vietnam - Cambodia.

We believe that the Cambodian people will soon overcome this great loss, and under the reign of King Norodom Sihamoni and the wise leadership of the Royal Government, continue to gain greater achievements in building and developing the country as desired by King Father Norodom Shihanouk.

VWU would like to pay our highest tribute to Cambodian King Father Norodom Shihanouk.
