Musical instrument “Dan bau” (Monocord) performed by A Vietnamese victim of Agent Orange in France.

Nguyen Thanh Tung played folk songs of different Vietnamese regions and several pieces of foreign music including those by Brahms, Schubert and A dolph Dam. Listeners were deep into his music and applauses thundered at the end of every piece of music. To the sympathy of listeners, Thanh Tung played a piece of music by Chopin o­n piano.

He finished the performance by expressing sincere thanks and calling people in France and in the world and Vietnamese people living in France as well as in other contries to continue support and reduce pains ofVietnamese victims of Agent orange/dioxi to bring about justice and somehow compensate the sufferings of the victims.

This performance is part of Thanh Tung’s tour in Paris andother cities such as Lon, Marseille, Roanme, Chalon-sur-Saone and Colmar.

The tour was initiated and sponsored by Vietnam Associstion of Child victims of Dioxi. For many years, the Association has sponsored Vietnamese child victims of Agent Orange/dioxin including Thanh Tung to study and improve health status, overcoming difficulties and sufferings caused by Agent Orange/dioxi.
