Overseas Vietnamese in Laos get together
The Vietnamese State and Government always helps facilitate the overseas Vietnamese community in Laos in conformity with Lao legal regulations.
The Foreign Ministry's Committee for Overseas Vietnamese made the remark in a letter addressed to the two-day get together of the community opening in Laos' Savanakhet province on April 7.
The letter affirmed that the overseas Vietnamese community in Laos is an indispensable part of the Vietnamese community, and wished its members a good life in Laos
It also highly praised the overseas Vietnamese community in Laos for their mutual support and contributions to Lao development.
Overseas Vietnamese serves as a bridge to strengthen the friendly Vietnam-Laos relationship, said the letter.
