The Vinh Phuc Women's Union held refresh training course for the Union's cadres

From November 6th to November 11th, 2006, the Vinh Phuc Women's Union, in co-ordination with the province's Politics College, held a course to enhance professional skills for more than 100 trainees who are the presidents, vice presidents of the Union at the grass-root level and the women cadres of the Provincial Blind's Association.

Trainers of the course were leaders of the Provincial Party Committee, the Women's Union and the province's Politics College.

 

The trainees were disseminated with the socio-economic development of the country and the province; the President Ho Chi Minh's thought o­n the masses mobilization; women mobilization; the situation of social evils, women and children trafficking in women an children in the province and throughout the country.

 

During the course, the trainees were also trained o­n document drafting skills and operation of the Union's Executive Board at the grass-root level; the professional skills o­n dealing with the marriage-related complaints and letters; the skills o­n using and managing loans effectively; leadership skills, negotiation and communication skills; gender and family issues; and HIV/AIDS prevention.

 

At the end of the course, the trainees were requested to write self-review of their learning, which were served as the basis for the issue of the professional certificate to the Union's cadres.
