Thuy Duong wins Miss International Image 2007

With 7,024 votes, Thuy Duong has left far behind her other runners up: Miss USA with 529 votes and Miss Mexico with 487 votes, both making up o­nly 5% and Miss Hong Kong with 418 votes and Miss Venezuela with 383 votes, both making up 4%.

Started o­n October 9, the election has received 10,700 votes through the competition’s official website geocities.

Also according to the website, Thuy Duong is however not listed in the most promising position for the crown. The top 12 include beauty queens from Belarus, Brazil, Dominican Rep, France, India, Japan, Korea, Mexico, Russia, Spain, Turkey and Venezuela.

Earlier the host’s Miss Japan was voted as Miss Photogenic 2007 o­n October 3 

Pham Thuy Duong, 21 years old, won the Super Model of Talent during the Vietnam Super Model Competition 2005. She was also listed in the top 10 of the Miss Vietnam 2006. She is 1.75 m tall and has a body measurements of 82-60-88.

The final of the Miss International Beauty Pageant will start at 6pm Tokyo time (4pm Hanoi time) today at the Prince Park Towel, Tokyo with the competition of 61 beauty queens from various countries.
