Women football team wins international

The Vietnam women’s football team won the International Women’s Football Tournament TKV after beating Thailand 2-0 at Cua Ong Stadium in the northern province of Quang Ninh.

The team received a bonus payment of VND40 million and VND200 million from the Vietnam Football Federation.

Thailand and Laos finished second and third and were awarded prize money of VND30 million and VND20 million.

The top scorer was Vietnam’s Do Ngoc Cham, the best player went to Thailand’s Junpen Seesraum, while Vietnam’s Dang Kieu Trinh was named best goal keeper.
