Workshop to share experience in women entrepreneurs supporting activities
After the presentation on commerce-oriented Business Development Services (BDS) by Mr. John Sargent, a voluntary expert of the Center for Women and Development, attendants exchanged opinions about the meaning and the effects of BDS development as well as the role, the functions and the purposes of the Center for Women and Development together with the services that the Center would be able to effectively provide in the period to come, such as: training and improving skills; organizing workshops/training courses; establishing a network; consulting; providing services, etc.
Ms Le Thi Thuy, member of the Presidium, Central Viet Nam Women Union, Vice Director of the Center for Women and Development expressed her gratitude to representatives for their enthusiasm. She also presented the next plan of the Center to support women entrepreneurs; and expressed the hope to receive the constructive cooperation and coordination from related departments and units to carry out all the activities of the Center, particularly those for supporting small and medium women entrepreneurs in the period to come./.
