• Exhibition tells life stories of women migrant workers

    An ongoing exhibition titled ‘Where I Arrive’ has been leaving a deep impression on visitors to the Vietnam Women's Museum in Hanoi by telling the touching life stories of women migrant workers in the capital city.

  • Helping poor women in coastal areas to escape poverty

    The lives of households living in the coastal area of Dien Chau (Nghe An) who have been surrounded by poverty for many years have changed markedly after they became members* of TYM. A typical example is the story of Ms. Nguyen Thi Thien from Nam Tien Tien village, Dien Kim commune.

    An event named “Aspirations for Peace” was held in Hanoi on January 9 in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the signing of the Paris Agreement on ending the war and restoring peace in Vietnam (Paris Peace Accords) (January 27, 1973).

    The VWU Central Executive Committee held a year-end Conference from December 13 -14, 2022 in Hanoi with the participation of 136 out of its total 158 members. The participants discussed and decided on many important issues related to the tasks of the VWU and the women's movement in 2023.

  • The Center for women and development promotes the implementation of project 8 aimed at disadvantaged women

  • Project promotes financial inclusion for ethnic minority women

    A project titled "Reach to Excel: Promoting Financial Inclusion for Ethnic Minority Women" has supported the development of more than 500 self-managed village credit savings groups (VSLA) with more than 11,000 women participating in savings and small-scale lending.
