Overview of the research situation of the Ministry-level and Academy-level topics of the Vietnam Women’s Academy and its contributions to society
According to the list of scientific research topics at the ministerial and academy levels, Vietnam Women’s Academy (VWA) has implemented many topics with diverse content and fields. Specifically, in 2024, the Academy has 17 scientific research topics with classifications such as: 10 topics under the key program, 7 technology transfer topics, including 4 ministerial-level topics and 3 project survey topics. -
Project 8: Scaling up to ensure “No One Left Behind”
After five years of implementation, phase I (2021-2025) of Project 8 “Realizing gender equality and addressing urgent problems for women and children". has achieved significant results. The project has basically fulfilled its four key focus areas, with 8 out of 9 core targets met or exceeded, contributing to a marked shift in awareness of people in extremely disadvantaged communes and villages. -
“Railway of Flowers”: Spreading Green for a Sustainable Environment and Gender Equality
On the afternoon of May 8 at Hanoi Railway Station, the Vietnam Women’s Union (VWU) and the Vietnam Railways Corporation (VNR) signed a Joint Program for the 2025-2030 period. The partnership aims to enhance coordination in Party and State building, national protection, socio-economic development, and environmental sustainability, while promoting gender equality across communities connected by the railway network.
