Vietnamese women have affirmed their capacity and social position, and received recognition form society, said a Vietnamese representative at a conference on women's economic self-reliance in Brussels on October 26.

Country Gender Equality Profile Vietnam 2021 (CGEP), the first comprehensive report on the gender equality situation in Vietnam, was released at a conference on October 26 by the UN Women, the Australian Embassy in Vietnam, the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the International Labour Organisation (ILO).
