Connecting, introducing the economic development model for women in Binh Phuoc
This activity is part of the implementation of Project 8 "Promoting Gender Equality and Addressing Urgent Issues for Women and Children" led by the Vietnam Women's Union.
The program was attended by a member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Chairwoman of the Vietnam Women's Union Ton Ngoc Hanh, Ms. Duong Thi Ngoc Linh - Director of the Women and Development Center, Ms. Trinh Thanh Tue - Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee, Ms. Dao Thi Lanh - Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, Ms. La Thi Thu Huong - Deputy Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee, as well as representatives from various departments and agencies in Binh Phuoc province. The event did also recieve the attention and participation of numerous women's union members in the province.

After visiting the participating booths of the exchange and connection activity, the member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Chairwoman of the Vietnam Women's Union Ton Ngoc Hanh, highly appreciated the efforts of the units and women's unions at all levels in implementing Project 8. At the same time, the Deputy Chairwoman expressed the desire for exemplary livelihood models and products made by women to be continued, introduced and replicated.

The exchange activity had the participation of 22 booths showcasing over 100 products from 11 units, including women's unions in districts, towns, and cities in Binh Phuoc province. These products were made by women's union members themselves, conisting mostly out of traditional, local specialties, products from individuals or units that have won prizes in entrepreneurship competitions organized by the Vietnam Women's Union, the provincial People's Committee, and the provincial Women's Union over the years.
The exhibited and introduced products in the program were diverse and rich in various fields: environmentally friendly agricultural products meeting food safety standards, products produced and cultivated according to clean and safe processes such as VietGAP, Organic, OCOP products recognized by functional agencies, handicrafts, souvenirs, etc..
The product connection festival is an opportunity for women's union members to promote and connect their self-made products based on the available resources in the local area. From this basis, it contributes to promoting the expansion of production and improving the quality of products...
