Mme Nguyen Thi Thanh Hoa thanked the Israel Government and Israel Embassy for supporting Vietnam Women’s Union to train its senior staffs through training courses on “Leadership, management and media” in Hanoi and Hochiminh City. She hoped that Israel Embassy will provide VWU with more training courses on related themes to enhance the capacity of VWU’s senior officers to face with current challenges.
The Israel Embassy and VWU share common interests in healthcare for children and women especially in reducing the mortality rate among newly born babies. Israel embassy often organizes charity programs in Vietnam. With this help, in the past two years, more than 8000 patients in Kontum and Quang Binh provinces were treated and checked up. Israel embassy will conduct a charity program in the end of this year 2008 and hope to cooperate with VVU in this program.
