Japanese woman donates US $90,000 for school building in Da Nang

Kaoru Sugano, from Kobe, Japan, has recently donated all of her assets, valued at US $90,000 for the building of the new kindergarten of Hoa Mi in Lien Chieu district, Da Nang, reported Dan Tri Online.

Ms Sugano received support from the Japan-based bureau of the Da Nang Department of External Relations to provide the support for Hoa Mi kindergarten.

Despite an exemplary kindergarten in Lien Chieu district, the kindergarten is facing a degradation of its facilities. Its rooms and playground cannot meet the demand of local children.

The building of the new kindergarten will have great significance for local teachers and children.

Huynh Su, head of the Lien Chieu Bureau of Education and Training, said that in the new school year, teachers and children in Hoa Mi kindergarten will be delighted to have a new kindergarten.

Mr Su said he would like to express sincere thanks to Ms Sugano for her kind-hearted help.
