Meaningful Activities in response to Ao Dai Week 2025

- Dak Nong Women’s Union Encourages members to join "Ao Dai Week" 2025
To inspire the sense of responsibility of preserving and promoting Vietnam’s cultural heritage among officials, members, women, and society as a whole, the Standing Committee of the Dak Nong Women’s Union has issued directives for all levels to organize activities in response to Vietnam Ao Dai Week 2025 (01-08/03). Provincial Women's Union officials, members and women will wear traditional Ao Dai attire on working days, especially on March 8.
Additionally, from now until April 30, the Women’s Union at all levels is organizing folk dance rehearsals and performances featuring a mashup “Dat nuoc mua xuan” of patriotic songs. Units with folk dance performances are encouraged to select and send outstanding images or video to spread widely in the community. The Standing Committee also encourages all levels of the Union to continue activities honoring and preserving the value of the Ao Dai such as: "Ao Dai – Sharing Love" and "Zero cost Ao Dai Stall", which donates to disadvantaged members and women.
- Ninh Binh Women’s Union launches Photo Contest "Ao Dai and Ninh Binh Tourism"
The contest is in response to the emulation movement “Building the New Era Ninh Binh Woman” and "Ao Dai Week 2025". The contest aims to honor the beauty of Vietnamese women in traditional Ao Dai, a symbol of national cultural identity while promoting the image of Ninh Binh and the VWU activities at all levels. The competition will take place from February 17, 2025, to February 28, 2025, created a positive and meaningful platform for members and women, enriching the cultural and spiritual life, building the New Era Ninh Binh Woman "with knowledgeable, virtuous, healthy, responsible for herself, her family, society, and the nation, with a friendly, gentle, elegant, and hospitable demeanor".
The organizers will select photos to post on the fan page of the Ninh Binh Provincial Women's Union and its official website. Public voting, based on interactions through the fan page (likes, shares, and comments) combine with the judges' evaluations to consider the award. The awards are expected to be presented at the Hoa Lu Festival, which will take place in early April 2025.
Only on the first day of the launch, the organizers already received over 20 photo albums from local people.
