Thanh Tan wins gold medal at National Cycling Champs
Female cyclist Hoang Thi Thanh Tan of Agifish An Giang team won gold medal in the long-road category at the on-going 2005 National Cycling Championships, clocking in two hours, 27 minutes and 54 seconds.
Le Thanh Uyen, Tan’s team mate, ranked second with a time of two hours, 28 minutes and 30 seconds. Le Ngoc Phuong from Domesco Dong Thap finished third, two seconds behind Uyen.
All cyclists in the national team were among the top 10 athletes to reach the finish line.
On Friday, the 2005 National Cycling Championships continued with the down-hill category for both men and women at ong Tuong Hill in Hoa Binh town.
