Vietnam grabs gold at int’l bowling tournament in Malaysia
Top Vietnamese bowler Huynh Ngoc Diem Thuy snatched a gold medal in the women's singles at the 29th Malaysia Open International Bowling Championship, which was held in Kuala Lumpur from March 21 to April 1.
The event has attracted the participation of athletes from 20 nations and territories around the world.
This is the first time a Vietnamese female bowler has won a gold medal at an international tournament. In the master event, Thuy took the lead in the qualifying round with 892 points.
