Vietnam to host Southeast Asian women’s football friendly championship

Vietnam will host the Southeast Asian women’s football friendly championship, reported the Sported Daily

The newspaper says that the ASEAN Football Federation (AFF) has officially agreed to let Vietnam host the tournament because Myanmar has to host the Southeast Asian under-17 championship.
Accordingly, the championship, with four teams Vietnam, Thailand, Myanamar and Taiwan, will be organised at the Thanh Long Sports Centre, Ho Chi Minh City, from May 5 to June 2, 2006.
