As part of efforts to celebrate Vietnamese Family Day (June 28) and respond to the 2025 Action Month for Children, the event highlighted the results of five years of determined implementation of family support programs in Hanoi. These include the “Five Nos, Three Cleans” initiative promoting families free of poverty, crime, domestic violence, population violations, and child malnutrition/dropout alongside the expanded “Five Haves, Three Cleans” model for urban area (safe housing, sustainable income, health, education, cultural lifestyle).
Over 91% of Hanoi households have met the criteria of the campaign, and more than 1,200 disadvantaged orphans have been supported through initiatives such as “Mother at Heart” and “Accompanying Our Children,” thanks to broad support from authorities, organizations, and individuals.
Ms. Lê Kim Anh called on all levels of the Women’s Union and Hanoi families to deepen their commitment to family development efforts in line with Vietnam’s Family Development Strategy to 2030, emphasizing moral education, safe living environments, and cultural conduct within families. She also encouraged the continued expansion of anti-domestic violence models and initiatives to build happy, progressive, and civilized households.
