Vietnamese women join ASEAN Football Quartet Cup

The ASEAN Football Federation (AFF) has decided to launch the ASEAN Football Quartet Cup instead of the second Southeast Asia Football Championships.

The tournament will include the three top ASEAN teams, namely Vietnam, Thailand, and Myanmar, which have been qualified for the 2006 Asian Women’s Football finals. Taiwan will play as a guest team.

AFF will decide on the tournament schedule at its next meeting with the four teams.
