·1978 to 1982, studying in Beijing Normal Institute (Present Name: Capital Normal University) majored in Philosophy and Politics and acquired BA in philosophy.

·1985 Dip. University of Chicago U.S.A., Methodology of Sociology

·1986 Dip. University of Los Andes of Colombia, Data Collection and Data Analysis

 

Professional experience:

 

·1968 to 1975, living and working with ethnic minorities in the pastoral area in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.

·1982 to 1983, teaching philosophy and political sciences in Beijing No. 2 Business Management Institute

·1983 to Now, working in the International Liaison Department, All-China Women’s Federation.

·As a researcher, visiting rural villages and local factories, implementing United Nations University’s research projects o­n rural women, replying UN and ESCAP questionnaire and taking part in the drafting of national reports submitted to the UN.

·As a program director, being responsible for the international cooperative projects carried out with UNICEF, UNIDO, IFAD and UNESCO include rural women’s poverty alleviation, micro credit schemes, training for women entrepreneurs, community mobilization, formulation of national program for children’s development etc..

·As a representative of ACWF, attending number of international conferences, including sessions of the UN Commission o­n Human Rights, sessions of the UN Commission o­n the Status of Women, Special Session of the General Assembly Women 2000, the World Conference Against Racism, Racial Discrimination and Xenophobia and international conferences of Conference of Non-governmental Organizations (CONGO), exchanging information and experiences with international NGOs.
